This homeowner discovered her water heater had burst. The carpet and vinyl flooring were waterlogged. The homeowner was left standing in water and unsure of how to get rid of it. Thankfully, she called SERVPRO of South Greenville County.

We removed all the vinyl flooring in the kitchen. The vinyl floor tiles acted as a vapor barrier and did not allow the evaporation process to occur. The structure would not be fully dry if we did not remove them. After the flooring was removed, we set fans and dehumidifiers throughout the home. We were able to mitigate the water damage and stop any secondary damage from happening.
