Laundromat Fire in Easley, SC

The dryer in this laundromat spontaneously combusted after being overloaded with rags. After the firetrucks left, the owner was unsure of how to remove the soot and smoke from his business. Luckily, he called SERVPRO of South Greenville County.

We removed the leftover debris. Next, we focused on removing the soot from the machines and restoring them to their previous condition. Two dryers were removed and were too damaged to be repaired. The ceiling tiles were removed and cleaned. We eliminated the smoke odor by fogging and deodorizing the laundromat. After a few days of work, the laundromat was ready to be reopened to customers.
